Standing as a bold architectural statement and functional centerpiece, Sam Houston State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine parking garage spans five levels and 328,000 square feet in Conroe, Texas. Designed to accommodate students, faculty, and staff, the structure also supports a nearby health professions building and serves as a highly visible landmark along Interstate 45.
To ensure safety and visibility in a high-traffic environment, Kirksey Architecture selected Kenall’s Helos luminaires—a decision driven by the fixture’s sleek design, lightweight construction, and superior glare control. Over 1,100 edge-lit luminaires were installed, providing bright, uniform illumination that enhances visual acuity and helps drivers identify pedestrians, navigate safely, and feel secure.
