Kenall’s New Natatorium Lighting Selected for IES 2022 Progress Report

Kenosha, Wisconsin (August 25, 2022) – Kenall’s new EnviroPro™ IN9 natatorium luminaire has been named to the 2022 Illumination Engineering Society (IES) Progress Report. Per their website, the IES Progress Committee must "keep in touch with developments in the art and science of lighting throughout the world, and prepare a yearly review of achievements for the Illuminating Engineering Society. Acceptance is based on an impartial judging process used by the committee to evaluate each submission on its uniqueness, innovation and significance to the lighting industry."

Kenall’s new Ingress Protection rated (IP66) EnviroPro IN9 series luminaires are a long-lasting lighting solution for caustic environments, including those containing chlorine and salt. Lynn Walldorf, Kenall’s Product Marketing Manager, said development of the luminaire series is in response to customer inquiry: “Kenall is known for robust, stainless steel tunnel luminaires. We saw a need for a stainless steel natatorium luminaire resistant to both galvanic and chemical corrosion. The EnviroPro IN9 series provides this durability in a sleek design with 3 housing options. Field adjustability and multiple optical distribution options help minimize glare and puts the light exactly where it's needed.”

Kenall warranties the EnviroPro IN9 luminaire series: depending on the material selected, housings are guaranteed for up to an industry-leading 15 years. Said Senior Director of Marketing, Bill Blackley, “We’re extremely pleased to be recognized again, for our robust, intelligent design and continued leadership in the lighting industry. IES Progress Report recognition is really rewarding for our entire team.”
